Drumchapel Advocacy Project

“To provide a free independent and confidential Advocacy service to adults to make their voices heard and to work towards a community in which each individual’s needs are met and where they have a greater influence over the services they use.”

Drumchapel Advocacy Project has been providing generic Advocacy support to the G15 community since 1993.

Advocacy, by definition, is about taking action to help people say what they want, secure their rights, represent their interests and obtain services they want.

A Citizen Advocate will meet with you to discuss the issues you are facing and how you wish to tackle them.  Your advocate will, at all times, be on your side and speak to other professionals/projects/agencies on your behalf, if you so wish.  They will also inform you of the options available to you.

What is advocacy?
